CHICAGO, IL – July, 2020 – Chicago attorney Maurice Grant, principal at Grant Law LLC, has announced plans to open a new Southern California office of the highly regarded Chicago firm. Mr. Grant also announced that John C. Allen, Counsel, will head up operations at the firm’s new West Coast location.
Grant Law’s new office will allow the firm to extend its national presence and expertise while opening new opportunities for growth.
As head of the West Coast operation, Mr. Allen brings nearly 30 years of professional legal experience to Grant Law. John is the former Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for the Family Health Network, Inc., a Midwest area health plan committed to providing quality healthcare for Medicaid and Medicare enrollees.
Prior to his position with the Family Health Network, John served as the Director of the Department of Administrative Hearings for Cook County, Illinois. For seven years, he served as the Inspector General for the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, and began his legal career in Virginia, serving eleven years, first as a prosecutor and later as a private practice attorney.
